Our remit
Make inbound voice accountable.
We make inbound voice answerable to the same operating standards as every other customer channel: defined scope, named ownership, reviewable records, and a route back to a person.
Five teams build the service. Five teams run it.
Each operating function assigns specialists to a defined remit. Deployment pods draw contributors from several functions while their home teams sustain reviews, live coverage, and change work.
Solution Design
Size the queue problem and define the operating boundary.
- Baseline audit
- Pilot hypothesis
Conversation Engineering
Define intent behavior, knowledge limits, disclosure, and escalation.
- Intent catalogue
- Escalation map
Voice Platform Engineering
Connect telephony, routing, concurrency, and failover.
- Call-flow design
- Failover runbook
Integration Engineering
Map actions and records into customer systems.
- Field map
- Integration test pack
Language Quality
Validate terminology, formats, disclosure, and handoff language.
- Language validation matrix
Deployment Management
Coordinate access, acceptance, launch, and change windows.
- Deployment plan
- Decision log
Quality and Evaluation
Test standard, adversarial, and boundary calls.
- Evaluation script
- Acceptance scorecard
Live Operations
Review service health, call behavior, incidents, and versions.
- Operating runbook
- Change log
Customer Operations
Own priorities, reviews, and expansion decisions with the customer.
- Operating review pack
- Action register
Security and Data Governance
Document data flow, access, retention, subprocessors, and diligence responses.
- Data-flow pack
- Retention matrix
Artifact flow
Ten functions share one deployment record.
Seven linked artifacts name the functions that prepare and use each record from baseline through launch and change.
- 01
Solution Design
Baseline audit
Define the queue, interval, intent, and record-quality baseline.
Solution DesignDeployment Management · Conversation EngineeringSolution Design sizes the queue; Deployment Management and Conversation Engineering use the audit to set the plan and scope.
- 02
Conversation Engineering
Intent catalogue
List approved intents, knowledge sources, boundaries, and actions.
Conversation EngineeringVoice Platform Engineering · Language Quality · Quality and EvaluationConversation Engineering records approved intents and exclusions; the receiving functions turn them into routing, language tests, and evaluation cases.
- 03
Integration Engineering
System field map
Define each action, destination field, source, and validation rule.
Integration EngineeringSecurity and Data Governance · Quality and Evaluation · Live OperationsIntegration Engineering maps actions and fields; the receiving functions check handling, test writes, and review production records.
- 04
Language Quality
Language validation matrix
Record test coverage and approval for each deployment language.
Language QualityConversation Engineering · Quality and EvaluationLanguage Quality records approved terminology, formats, disclosure, and handoff wording for each deployment language.
- 05
Quality and Evaluation
Acceptance scorecard
Compare test evidence with the customer-approved acceptance line.
Quality and EvaluationDeployment Management · Customer OperationsQuality and Evaluation records the acceptance result; Deployment Management and Customer Operations use it for the launch decision.
- 06
Live Operations
Production and failover runbook
Voice Platform Engineering authors the failover path, Deployment Management coordinates launch, and Live Operations maintains production, incident, and rollback actions.
Voice Platform Engineering · Deployment ManagementLive Operations · Customer OperationsVoice Platform Engineering authors the call and failover steps, Deployment Management coordinates launch, and Live Operations maintains the production runbook while Customer Operations coordinates customer decisions.
- 07
Live Operations and Customer Operations
Versioned change log and operating review pack
Connect dated changes, evidence, decisions, actions, and owners.
Live Operations · Customer OperationsSolution Design · Conversation Engineering · Integration Engineering · Security and Data GovernanceLive Operations and Customer Operations record evidence, decisions, and open actions; the build functions use that record for approved changes.
How we work
Four working principles.
Scope before automation
Customer-approved intents, sources, exclusions, and success criteria define what the service may handle.
Evidence in the customer system
Each scoped call writes the fields, owner, source, and timestamps the customer selected for review.
A human route for each boundary
The call flow names where callers go when they request a person or cross an approved boundary.
Versioned and reversible changes
The team tests each material change, records the dated configuration, and keeps a route back to the prior call flow.
Partner path
For consultancies, telephony integrators, and regional CX partners.
Partner engagements combine a partner’s account or domain role with Avant’s voice-service build and operation.
Both parties agree the commercial model, account ownership, delivery boundary, support route, and customer-facing responsibilities for each engagement.
